What this tool collects
The calculator asks for two sets of things.
- Contact details. Your name, company name, email address, job role and mobile number.
- Business information about your database. Roughly how many dormant enquiries you hold, how old they are, where they came from, how many have a mobile number, what you currently pay for leads or appointments, your average job value, your close rate, and how many extra surveys you could take on in a month.
None of this is special category data and we do not ask for any. The business figures are your own estimates and we treat them as confidential.
When it gets sent
Worth being straight with you: the calculator sends your name, company and email as soon as you complete the first step, before you reach the end. If you stop partway through, we will still hold those three details. The rest is only sent if you complete the calculator and choose to unlock your report.

- To follow up with you about your database and whether we can help
- To understand which kinds of businesses find the tool useful, so we can improve it
Our legal basis
Legitimate interest. You have approached us by choosing to run the calculator and asked for a result, so we have a genuine interest in responding and following up about the service it relates to. You can object at any time and we will stop.
Who else sees it
- Netlify hosts this page and processes the form submission on our behalf. Your entries are stored in our Netlify account. See Netlify's privacy policy.
We do not sell your data, share it with other installers, or pass it to advertisers.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry data for as long as we need it to respond to you and for a reasonable period afterwards, in line with the retention section of our main privacy policy. Ask us to delete it sooner and we will.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we are using it, or ask us to restrict it. Email team@alturasystems.co.uk and we will deal with it.
If you are not happy with how we handle it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
About the numbers the calculator produces. Every figure it shows is an estimate based on the answers you give and our own assumptions about how reactivation campaigns typically perform. It is not a forecast, a valuation, or a guarantee of results. Do not rely on it as the sole basis for a business decision.
